Niche job boards are interesting and have been around a little while in the web design and development community. But most focus on a US centric audience and provide little geographic context.
getjobsin.com aims to address this problem by introducing a number of features to make finding something near where you live easier. To start things off we're focusing mainly on the North East of England, but you can still post jobs from outside the area.

The site is littered with microformats and provides GeoRSS feeds for various bits and pieces. Under the hood the site is build on the symfony framework.
It's free and simple. Jobs stay on the site for 30 days. No agencies please.
